The MISE Decree, published in the Official Gazette on May 6, 2022, establishes the implementation provisions envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to finance startups.
The resources, amounting to 300 million euros, are made available to supplement the venture capital support fund. The fund benefits, through direct and indirect investments, start-ups with high development potential and that carry out innovative projects, even if they have already started, provided that they did not start before February 1, 2020.
Managed by the asset management company of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the alternative investment fund, called Digital Transition Fund, concerns the promotion of the digital transition of supply chains in the fields of artificial intelligence, the cloud, healthcare and cybersecurity.
