On the 27th of October 2016, at 10:30 am., in Rome, at Teatro Orione, Via Tortona 7 (Metro A: Re di Roma), the Presentation Event of the “Statistic Report on Immigration 2016, hospitality, integration and new citizenship” took place. This event is being recognized by IDOS Study and Research Centre who is in partnership with the magazine CONFRONTI, and in collaboration with both UNAR and the financial support of the Methodist and Waldensian Churches.
The purpose of this Report is to promote an adequate level of awareness about migration between public opinion, which is still exposed to the risk of preconception.
Amongst the antendee's, the prestigious hosts of the event: Paolo Naso, Representative of the Waldensian Church, Domenico Manzione, Undersecretary of the Italian Ministry of Interior, Ugo Melchionda, President of IDOS Study and Research Centre, S. E. mons. Lorenzo Leuzzi, Auxiliary Bishop of Rome and responsible for health and university Ministry of the Vicariate of Rome, On. Luigi Bobba, Undersecretary for Italian Labour and Social Policy, Claudio Paravati, Director of the magazine “Confronti”, Franco Pittau, Editorial Coordinator of the “Statistic Report on Immigration”.
During the event there was a screening for the film “The Statistic Report on Immigration 2016”, edited by Rai News 24.
As the representative of the immigration world and speaker at the Presentation Event, Ms. Lifang Dong commented on the Report of Immigration with regard to her experience in Italy under a personal and professional perspective.

Presentazione del “Dossier Statistico Immigrazione 2016, accoglienza, integrazione, nuova cittadinanza”
Il 27 Ottobre 2016, alle ore 10:30, a Roma, presso il Teatro Orione, Via Tortona 7 (Metro A: Re di Roma), si terrà la Presentazione del “Dossier Statistico Immigrazione 2016, accoglienza, integrazione, nuova cittadinanza”, a cura del Centro Studi e Ricerche IDOS in partnership con la rivista CONFRONTI, in collaborazione con l’UNAR e con il sostegno dei fondi Otto per Mille delle Chiese Metodiste e Valdesi.
Lo scopo del Dossier consiste nel favorire un livello adeguato di consapevolezza dei fenomeni migratori da parte dell’opinione pubblica, tuttora esposta al rischio di chiusure pregiudiziali.
Tra gli illustri ospiti: Paolo Naso, Rappresentante della Tavola Valdese, Domenico Manzione, Sottosegretario al Ministero dell’Interno, Ugo Melchionda, Presidente del Centro Studi e Ricerche IDOS, S. E. mons. Lorenzo Leuzzi, Vescovo ausiliare di Roma e responsabile della Pastorale sanitaria e universitaria del Vicariato di Roma, On. Luigi Bobba, Sottosegretario al Lavoro e alle Politiche Sociali, Claudio Paravati, Direttore della rivista “Confronti”, Franco Pittau, Coordinatore redazionale del “Dossier Statistico Immigrazione”.
