Italy: 609 million allocated for the digitalization of businesses

The implementing decree of the “Business voucher plan”, signed by the Italian Minister of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti, provides for the allocation of 609 million euros for the digitization of the country.

This is a strategy identified among the priorities of the PNRR which, after the incentives in favor of families and schools, is aimed at businesses. Depending on the type and amount of the voucher requested, it may vary from a minimum of 850,000 to a maximum of 1,400,000 beneficiary companies. The resources that will be disbursed amount to a total of 609 million euros: for businesses, in particular, only one voucher will be made available which can be of different amounts, from a minimum of 300 euros to a maximum of 2,000 euros, and of different duration of the contract, from a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 36 months. The Plan, approved by the European Commission on December 15, 2021, it will last until the allocated resources are exhausted, and in any case no later than 24 months from the start of the intervention by Infratel.
