The European Commission has approved the Italian subsidy plan of 1.2 billion euros, allocated under the PNRR, and intended to incentivize the installation of photovoltaic panels in the agricultural sector. The beneficiaries will be able to invest in photovoltaic capacities not exceeding their energy needs. The contributions will be subject to ceilings depending on the capacity of the photovoltaic system. The decisive factors noted by the Commission for the approval of the grant funds were the incentive effect that the measure will trigger, the guaranteed sustainable growth for the national and Community agricultural sector and the positive effects on the environment and in the fight against climate change, in line with the objectives of the European agenda.
