The Italian Mipaaf has formalized the decree that will support business investments with 500 million euros, as part of the PNRR measure "Logistic development for the agri-food, fishing and aquaculture, forestry, floriculture and nursery sectors".
The Ministry has reserved 40% of the resources to finance projects in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily. The measure aims to strengthen the logistics and storage systems of the agri-food sector, with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of the supply chains, reducing their environmental and economic costs and supporting innovation.
Investment projects will be selected and financed for the construction and efficiency of storage and transformation structures, for the digitization of logistics processes and for the implementation of infrastructural interventions.
