As a part of International Commercial Dispute Resolution Mechanism and Institutions for the Belt and Road Initiative, in 2018 China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) established the first China International Commercial Court (CICC) in Shenzhen City (Guangdong Province). The second was established in Xi’an City (Shaanxi Province) and on november 2020 it was established a third CICC in Suzhou City (near Shanghai).
CICCs are permanent judicial organs of the SPC. Thus, there is no higher court to accept the appeal, since judgments, rulings and mediation statements made by the ICCs will are deemed to be issued by the SPC.
CICCs have jurisdiction over international commercial disputes of the first instance where the parties concerned agree to submit the dispute to the SPC and the subject amount is higher than RMB 300m (aprox 3.770.00 Euro) or other international commercial disputes with a significant impact nationwide.
China’s Supreme People’s Court also launched a platform to provide a service for ascertain foreign law with the support of International Commercial Expert Committee and Professional Organizations. Moreover, the SPC also published guiding cases involving the ascertainment of foreign laws, that judges, lawyers and parties may use as references.

Nell'ambito del meccanismo internazionale di risoluzione delle controversie commerciali e delle istituzioni per la Nuova Via della Seta, nel 2018 la Corte suprema del popolo Cinese (SPC) ha istituito il primo Tribunale commerciale internazionale cinese (CICC) nella città di Shenzhen (provincia del Guangdong). Il secondo è stato istituito nella città di Xi'an (provincia dello Shaanxi) e nel novembre 2020 ne è stato istituito un terzo nella città di Suzhou (vicino a Shanghai).
I CICCs sono organi giudiziari permanenti dell'SPC. Pertanto, non esiste un tribunale superiore a cui appellarsi, poiché le sentenze e le decisioni rese dalle CCI saranno considerate come emesse dall'SPC.
Le CICCs hanno giurisdizione sulle controversie commerciali internazionali di primo grado in cui le parti interessate convengono di sottoporre la controversia all'SPC e l'importo in oggetto è superiore a RMB 300m (circa 3.770,00 Euro) o altre controversie commerciali internazionali con un impatto significativo a livello nazionale.
La Corte Suprema del Popolo Cinese ha anche lanciato una piattaforma per fornire un servizio per l'accertamento del diritto straniero con il supporto del Comitato di esperti commerciali internazionali e delle organizzazioni professionali. Inoltre, l'SPC ha anche pubblicato una lista di casi guida collegati all'accertamento di leggi straniere, che giudici, avvocati e parti processuali possono utilizzare come riferimento.
